I'm freaking out!!!!!!!!! SOMEBODY WITH THE SAME SIDE EFFECT PLEA...

Hopefully this will help alleviate your concern. Years ago I was on Loestrin and only had a period every other month. I moved and had to change doctors, so they had me switch pills. I just went back on Loestrin FE in August 2007 and haven't had a period since. So for me, not having periods while on Loestrin is normal. I imagine that others have probably experienced the same side effect.

omg same thing is happening to me, though leostrin 24 is my first birth control pill, but i did have unprotected sex2 weeks after starting the pill and took plan b, so plz let me know if you do get your period, since i'm worried as well of not getting it or being pregnant.

I was on birth control pills (yaz) for several months before deciding to stop taking them. I couldn't handle the mood swings. After stopping the pill I had unprotected sex and took the Plan B. This was in October 07. My periods were screwed up for about 2 months. I would definetely go to your OB/GYN to rule out pregnancy. I started taking Loestrin FE about a month ago and so far no problems. But I can assure you that taking the Plan B does screw up your cycle.

LOestrin 24 prevents a egg from maturing resulting in a lighter & shorter period...(hence) the 3day period......so doubt ur dryed out up there.so if test r negative its obviusly a side effect n u need 2 switch pills
