I have read most of the postings on Yasmin but I haven't seen one...

I am having the same issue. My first cycle was the most painful thing that I have everexperienced in life. I passed a clot the size of a baseball. I had a week of no menses and then it came back and I am still bleeding 2 1/2 weeks later.

I started yasmin in the first 24 hours on the first day of my cycle. I thought my period would stop since I was taking the pink pills but my menstral cycle lasted for 8 days. During those eight days my period was heavier than it has ever been and I had alot of large blood clots. It really freaked me out but I figured that my body was just trying to stop my period since I had just started taking the birth control. This is my first month on yasmin and I am on my 4th week of the pills. I have taken 2 white pills already but I still havent gotten my period!!! I have had a constant head ache since I got on the pill and my breasts are very tender. I have never had alleriges in my life and as soon as I started taking this birth control I got a severe allergy reaction. I have been constantly sneazing and had congestion for the past month. I never actually put all the symptoms together until I found this site. I am not going to be taking yasmin ever again and I hope that I return back to my normal self again soon. I just hope that I dont have any lasting health problems because of taking yasmin.
