I've been on Singulair for just over one year. The Rx worked wonderful for my asthma. But I've also had chronic hives during that time. They usually start around my neck, face and arms and then continued to spread from there. I used Benadryl to control the hives. The hives got more intense as I continued use of Singulair and the Benadryl became less effective. I was also told by my doctor that the drug would not cause hives. After reading the posts here, I will never use it again. I also experienced some weight gain and eye twitching, which has been noted by other postings.
