Please help us in our fight to get this poison off the market? I"m suffering for 3-/12 yrs. now. I'm angry, sad and hurting everyday. I had a great life with a wonderful family and it's been horrible few years. I've had cns problems along with the muscle problems. You will find thousands of us on fqvictims.org, fqresearch.org, please file a medwatch report and tell everyone you can about this horrible drug that is supposed to be used a s a last resort medicine. It's handed out like candy with no warning of what it can do to you. Also, many of the problems start weeks, even months after taking this crap. Warn others. Helen

I took Levaquin from feb.4th to about feb.12th, it was a 10day treatment, 1 500mg pill per day. I only took 9 pills because it started upsetting my stomach, diarhhea. On Feb 15th, I got bad leg cramps and foot cramps, by that weekend, I had joint pain, muscle pains. On Feb 19th, I had severe neck pain, it felt like it was joint pain, I had to leave work and go home. Ever since I stopped the Levaquin I've been having muscle and joint pains, sometimes I can hear my joints pop. I saw my dr., he did a blood test, it showed the Rheumatoid Factor was 3 points higher than normal, he referred me to a Rheum. Dr. Does anyone have this same effect?

Well, I'm never sick, and I've been struck with the flu AND bronchitis. So, my doctor prescribed 750mg levaquin, and i took the first pill about 8 hrs ago. I have the most awful metallic taste in my mouth...it's unbearable!!! I'm nauseous and have been breaking out into sweats every hour. I don't know if it's the flu or not, but after reading these posts, I think I'll stop the med. and just fight the infection on my own...

I am also an RN and just unfortunately trsted these ID docs who started me on Levaquin 750 for thirty days.....I noticed a lighteheadedness and tachycardia also but figured it was from previous IV ant. therapy in a PICC line for bacteremia...............well after three days of this horrible poison levaquin.I felt like I had acute gout in the right knee left hip, both elbows and back................UNBELIEVABLE............this drug is dangerous. I threw them out and am pumping water to rid my bod of this toxin!! I m throughly disgusted with these docs that push the latest meds without regard to potential side effects.
