I've been using it for 5 months. i go through a bottle in a week and a half and every time i try to get off my nose gets so congested it hurts and makes it hard to breathe. if anyone has any tips on how to get off let me know

This is actually a very common dilemma especially among Afrin users... Treatment is actually quite simple. Only use the spray in one nostril for a while... during this time the other nares will return back to normal and you can then discontinue the spray in the second nostril.
