I think the more serious side effects are directly dependent on the dosage prescribed by your doctor. Overall, in a short period of time, my mind was very clear, was able to focus and concentrate better without any voices. I do feel a bit thirsty. I bought a treadmill to exercise just to avoid the weight gain. On a very low dose, I didn't feel too zonked out or tired, but was able to resume normal activities. However, I would not look forward to being on a very high dose of Risperdal due to the more serious side effects like fatigue, drowsiness, and tremors. I don't think I can exercise if I feel very tired.
