I was on the NuvaRing two years ago and had these mysterious stomach pains i figured were an ulcer, because i was really stressed out at work and in a bad relationship. However, a few months ago I started thinking about it again and realized the timing coincided with the few months I was on the Ring before I stopped birth control completely and broke up with my boyfriend, which got rid of my stomach aches and made me a happier person. However, I went back on the ring 6 weeks ago because i am in a relationship again and have had terrible stomach aches that wake me up in the night, and many waves of nausea. I really wanted the ring to work but I cannot help but think these things are directly related to the hormones that I have been shoving in my body. Last night I woke up at 3 AM in a fit of pain and threw the ring in the trash. i hope I'm not crazy. has anyone else had these kinds of problems?
