Hi Carl:
I know what you mean, I have been on this drug for almost a year now.
It started with my whole body turning red like a lobster, tiny bumps all over my skin, itchy as all get out and having a hard time breathing. The whites of my eyes where even red. This was all for an allergic reaction to cats and I think Arthutec an anti-inflamatory/gout related medicine I was taking at the time. Up and down 30 mg per day and slowly down to 5 mg per day. I have been on 5 mg now for about 2 months and I am afraid to stop taking this all together. What advice do you have to get off of this stuff? Are you also taking IMOVANE 7.5 mg, the blue sleeping pill to fall asleep at night? It makes your mouth taste metalic and a good home cooked meal is also not tasting very good these days. I have been gambling a lot heavier and not feeling very good about myself, even though I have been winning some pretty good money . Sorry to be going on and on……………Anthony
Hi. I can relate to all your agony. I get very depressed when I take it because I feeel so awful. I don't even recognize myself in the mirror anymore, I'm so puffy. I don't feel well most of the time on this drug. My quality of life has really gone down. I use to walk and run and now I use a walker. I've been using a walker for 6 months now.
I hope you won't have to take this drug to often. Take care.
