Just recently, I stopped taking Yasmin after being on it for a year. My prescription was held back because of insurance issues and also because I had to take antibiotics for a cold. When I stopped taking it, I completely felt like a new person. I feel more energetic than I've been this past year. I'm eating healthy and I'm running frequently. My sex drive has also changed drastically (for the better). When I first went on Yasmin, my boyfriend immediately noticed a change in my mood and it went on for months. I thought I acted the same as always but I guess not. Over the winter I just got lazy, I wasn't motivated to run or do anything physical. I'm only 18 years old and I shouldn't have been as lazy as I was! Not to mention I gained a lot of weight I don't think I should completely blame college life. I think I'm going to stay off of Yasmin and birth control altogether and see how it goes.
