I only took one doxycycline and experienced my bottom lip breaking out, hearburn, itching of the skin, and yeast infection. Luckily I noticed the side effects with just one pill and did not take anymore. This morning the yeast infection is itching like crazy and I still feel like I have something hung in my throat and a heaviness in my chest. I hope that these side effects go away soon. I will be calling my doctor this morning when his office opens.
You seem to be having minor side effects, so don't worry. some of the major side effects include difficulty in breathing, red blisters, peeling of skin ..e.tc., There are drugs which interact with Doxycycline and increase the intensity of side effects.
