Doing an article on Yasmin, INFO WANTED on Side Effects that occur after you stop taking the pill Hey okay so I'm doing an article on Yasmin, the side effects that occur when you stop taking the pill, and would like more information on it. I would like to interview ex users of the pills that have experienced either hair loss, lack of period, severe headaches, and just about anything that resulted. I need to write this article ASAP! All experiences are helpful. I too used to be on the pill, and ever since I stopped taking it my cycle has been out of whack. While most people know some of the side effects of taking the pill, few know the side effects that occur when you stop taking it. It would be a helpful article to any users or future users of the pill, don't you agree?

I stop taking YAZ. That pill was the devil. My doctor gave it to me to help with my PMDD. It made my face really dry, moodiness, depression, and lack ok labido. When I decided to ween myself off I noticed I was losing my hair @ my hair line. OMG I was about to cry. This pill sucks. It should be taken off the market. I stopped Yasmin in February of 2008. It is now July 2008, no period, and I am also having my hair fall out. I got bloodwork done and my estrogen levels are so low it is like I am in menopause, yet I'm only 25. With low estrogen, I also have night sweats, hot flashes, insomnia and fatigue. Please let me know what you did to correct the problem since you went off. I definitely think these are side effects from stopping this horrible birth control pill.....
