I have been taking lisinopril for a year and a half or so and I have never heard anything like that. It has helped my blood pressure alot. Now it is normal and I feel fine. Are you sure that is what caused it?
I am so sorry for your loss Elby. Your post really spoke to me as I too have been concerned about the side effects of Lisinopril. I just left a post describing how concerned I've been about having a heart attack just last night and that I am going back to be re-evaluated and not taking them anymore. Your sister may indeed have experienced one of the lesser but nonetheless possible side effects. There are few absolutes in life and that includes medicine. With respect to any condition, a good Doctor will not rule out the unknowns or possibilities but at best may tell you of their perception of their likelihood. My sincere condolences Elby.
