Strattera was terrible. I do not recommend this drug or any other drug that just came out. Adderall and Ritalin and such might be more likely for abuse but those have been around for years and years and at least you know the worst that you can happen to you. Strattera made me depressed and tired. Made me concentrate even less than normal. My heart rate would be at about 125 beats per minute and I'd be sweating buckets when normally I'm cold easily and prefer hotter climate. The next minute I'd be freezing cold with chills all over my body. Nausea was extreme as well as the urge to vomit. The thought of food made me sick. It gave me blurred vision. I wasn't able to do anything but sit at home and hope it would pass. DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG.

What was your dosage? There are many doses that range from 10 - 100mg. I don't recommend taking more than 40mg, but that is from personal exp. Try to lower your doseage and take more frequently. I had the same problem, but now I'm taking 10mg 2x daily with food. I still will get a spell or 2 if I don't eat with it, but not that often.

If you take the right dosage, this drug works wonders. As for the depression, again, your dose was probably too high. Some people work differently with different drugs. You may want to try another ADHA medication like Rittlin or Adderal -note, some of these have dependancy forming habbits. Take your suggested does and no more!
