I have been taking Lisinopril for two months. My systolic is still high 140, but the diastolic is a much lower 72. My heart rate is it's usual sluggish self, anywhere from 43 to 60. I had diarrhea for about three weeks, it has gone away, but the dry cough is driving me nuts and I also get a lump in the throat sensation with this drug which is uncomfortable. On the plus side, it seems to have lowered my appetite so I lost 10 pounds. I would like to switch to something else though, because I hate the cough and lump in the throat thing.
