I have had the same thing gmomnc. I must say that it has always been a problem with that breast, ever since I started taking BC pills twenty years ago. I even had to go for a mammogram back then because my GP didn't trust the lump in my breast. They appeared to be milk glands and nothing else. I quit taking the BC pills though because they had caused this. They contained the same hormone as Mirena (levonorgestrel). In the past couple of years I have been to the doctor a few times and had my breast examined, and he said it was nothing serious and that I had to just live with it. I have it on the same side as you, and also in my armpits....
Since I am Mirena free, almost all side effects have gone except for my breast pain, and sometimes it's even worse. I guess it's from the hormones swinging and trying to find a new balance.....

Yes, before I had the mirena removed, I had constant breast pain and sensitivity. I saw a difference almost immediately after I had it removed. I am looking forward to a normal sex life again once my hormones balance out. Right now my body is still in withdrawal.
