I just finished a 7 day prescription of Levaquin for a ear, nose and throat infection and I am truly scared at what I am reading here. I cannot imagine having these headaches keep going for much longer. I have had the worst headaches I have ever had. They come once a day and are the worst. A couple days after starting the Levaquin I felt really anxious and almost paranoid. At one point I wished for death. That feeling has gone away for the most part but the headaches are still here. I am afraid to go back to working out because of the tendon problems I've read about. Can anyone tell me if the side effects eventually go away???

For some the go away, for other they don't. In addition, the time span seems to vary widely. I would recommend being very cautious about working out. My bicep completely detached spontaneously after being off the drug for 8 months. I thought I was doing well but out of nowhere it snapped, WITHOUT any strenuous activity so be careful. I got the severe headaches only while taking the medication. It has been 3 1/2 months, and the only lasting side effects are the hip and joint pain that I have. I have been usiing over the counter medicines for joints and that helps.
