For some the go away, for other they don't. In addition, the time span seems to vary widely. I would recommend being very cautious about working out. My bicep completely detached spontaneously after being off the drug for 8 months. I thought I was doing well but out of nowhere it snapped, WITHOUT any strenuous activity so be careful. I got the severe headaches only while taking the medication. It has been 3 1/2 months, and the only lasting side effects are the hip and joint pain that I have. I have been usiing over the counter medicines for joints and that helps.
