I took Levaquin for 3 days. On the 2nd day, I had trouble lifting my right arm but, at first, I did not associate the problem with Levaquin. On the evening of the 3rd day, I could not use my arms at all. I couldn't dress myself or comb my hair. I could not raise my arms because of severe pain. I stopped taking the Levaquin and went to the doctor. She scoffed at the idea that Levaquin could have cause my problem. I saw another doctor (more scoffing) and she said I have fibromyalgia. I do not. I am absolutely fine except for my shoulders and upper arms. I am a 60 year old female who has never had any problems like this. I believe the Levaquin was the cause, especially after I looked up side effects on the 'net, 3 days after starting the drug. After 6 weeks, I am still struggling. I can raise my arms but the pain is intense at night. I have hope that I will recover.
