I bled for at least a week and a half after having it taken out. It was clotty and disgusting!I I even had a nosebleed and I have never had one before! It has been 3 weeks now and I have been sick and tired and nauseated some but my sex drive ia a LOT better- especially for being sick! I have lost 5 lbs not trying which is AWESOME! It will get better!

I had mine removed 3 1/2 weeks ago. My breast tenderness and anxiety lifted almost immediately. I had a very heavy, clotty bleed on days 2-7 post removal (BTW I aske my GYN if I should expect a heavy bleed, and she said no, that I would get a light period about a month after removal, the they would get a little heavier each month until normal....) . I've generally felt TONS better. I still have ups and downs with my mood and fatigue, but I'm not nearly as grouchy! The back pain is gone, the joint pain is greatly diminished. I've dropped about 4 pounds and sex drive is back. I feel like I'm getting PMSy -- bloating and breast tenderness is back and I've had a killer headache. I've read it takes a few months to get back to normal, so let's hope. I've also read it helps a lot to exercise daily and drink lots of water, take multi vitamins and see an accupuncturist - we will see. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
