Hi All, I am a 28 year old married mother of two (10years and 19months). I suffered from extreme hyperemisis and I just barely made it through my pregnancy by the grace of god. Due this horrific experience and high chance of it reoccurring with the next pregnancy I decided to try the Mirena. I just had mines inserted about 1week ago. It was painful during the insertion but pain quickly subsided and became minimal. So far I have been experiencing practically constant cramping (about the same as when on cycle) and slight bloating feeling. I also have been spotting almost daily, but my biggest concern is that I feel tingling in my legs if they are crossed or bent. Almost has if the flow of the blood has thickened. I just contacted my Dr about this and am waiting on a response. At the moment I am thinking I can tough this all out if the symptoms will disappear after 6 months. I like the fact that my appetite has decreased, and my portion size intake has decreased to about half. I have been struggling with my weight and feels this is a good thing. I will keep updating just as and F.Y.I….. Melissa

I didn't have tingling, but I saw lots of posts from women who have had tingling with Mirena. Try Googling "Mirena side effects tingling" and I bet you can find women who have had a similar experience. Good luck!!
