I'm having the same problems. I just started using the nuvaring in January. My mother already told me a suffered from mild depression, but it never bothered me before. A week or two weeks ago I reinserted the ring and that's when everything started going downhill for me. I can never stay happy for a long period of time, and my outlook on everyone changed. I wake up the same way, and I have never felt this way before, and it's terrible because I'm a freshman in college as a premed student, and it can get in the way of a lot. I can't even enjoy my boyfriend's present as much as I usually do, and he is very understanding. It happened out of no where. I went to the doctor for a refill last week, and they gave me a survey that asked me how's my NR treatment going. I checked severe depression. And that caught my attention that this may be the problem. I just wanted you to know that you aren't the only one. The NR may definitely be the problem.
