I've also had adult acne, I share your pain, mine was horrible! I refused to leave the house, wore layers of make-up, but that made it worse. I tried everything, not to sound like an advertisment, but Proactive was the only thing that worked for me.

I had many other side effects, but not bad acne (just mild). But in researching all of this I saw lots of other posts from women in your position (the Mirena IUD Side Effects forum on www.curezone.net was pretty helpful). Many said it got worse in the month post removal, then gradually got better. Hope that helps a little -- GOOD LUCK!!!
