Once you have removed yourself from Singulair, I also am interested on how long you think it took for all the drug to be out of your system.
My 2 1/2 year old has been on the med for 9 months. My husband is a special education teacher, and I am in healthcare as an audiologist. We both noticed changes, but chalked it up to "being 2". However, we both have felt that there is something more to it than being 2. Often times his energy level is so high and we try to execute it into something productive which requires a lot of attention, other times he is totally happy and then entirely unprovoked crying which is hard to calm. My husband terms him the "light switch on and off" I termed him my "AAC acting autistic child".......meaning that what the heck is going on.
There is usual whining 2 year old behavior and then there is behaivor that just isn't fitting the norm.
At 25 pounds and on a ton of medicine for asthma, I'm not surprised.
This makes me so sad. Lungs or mental health. Right now I'll go with lung issues and try better to control it from an environmental standpoint until we can research further.
