I actually just got off the phone with my daughters preschool and we were discussing the same thing! Although, she has been acting up and is sometimes extremely difficult to handle now, she IS breathing properly. It amazes me that this little pill that she chews up can be so effective. She has been hospitalized 6 times in her little life, has a 2 daily neb. treatments of Pulmicort, and has had so many emergency visits to the e.r. and dr., all due to her asthma!! That is a thing of the past now that she is taking the Singulair, however, I now get frequent calls from her preschool about her behavior, and she has me stressed out alot!!! I don't know...I'm gonna speak to her pediatritian.....
Can I ask what is your age?
These are children... children who can't explain their side affects.
And don't understand these side affects that are making them feel crazy.
As an adult you can cope with this... but as a child, how can you explain anxiety and teach them to deal with it?
