Hi,
I have similar symptoms, however my dent is unfortunately in my face. I can tell youthat it does get better, and that the tissue atrophy is most likely temporary. I have consulted with four plastic surgeons about my side effects, and they all say the same thing: wait until the tissues come back. It could take a year or even more to happen. I woudn't jump into lots of testing or surgery--this condition will most likely reverse itself over time. You have to be patient however, because you will not see a change from day to day--more like every few months. The kenalog remains active in our systems for about two months as it is a time-release drug, and then slowly over a period of many months, the tissues and muscles begin to regenerate themselves. I know it is horrible--all we can do is learn from these awful things tht happen to us. Give it time and be patient--this is temporary.
I have similar symptoms also and worse...Wanna do something about it but as far as I know I can't... I got a kenalog shout about 3 years ago....I hurt my shoulder cleaning my carpets....got 5 shots of kenalog in 2-3 monthes...by about the 4th month I went from semi-healthy to bed-bound.I went to Dr. to Dr. with no insurance.Couldn't find out what wrong...intil I got on Medicade.....Rheumatory arthritis,Osteoarthritis and everything eles..... Out of bed now after 3 years...Doing some what better now but still have lots of pain.I am only 46 yrs. old and everyone I talk to said they haven't heard of anybody ever getting sick so fast from either of the Arthritis.....I know it was the kenalog shot...but No Doc. will admit to it....But when I called the company when I first got all this...they said that the Doctor should of warned me of the side effects...NOT!!! Long Story made short...Please contact me with any questions.....Would like to sue if possible...
