I was prescribed Levaquin 750mg for a virus which would not get better. The first night, I took a pill and within an hour of taking this drug, I awoke and I had a small case of heartburn. And it was hard for me to stay asleep. The next night, last night, I took my second pill. Within an hour, I again awoke. This time, the heartburn was bothersome. I tried drinking liquids and eating different foods. Nothing helped. The heartburn was more severe while lying down. I had an awful taste in my mouth and I was unable to sleep. After 22 hours, I still have this terrible heartburn. I have not been able to eat much. This is a terrible drug. I promptly threw these nasty pills away.
