That was my experience, too....I looked just like I did when I was 5 months pregnant. I thought initially that it would calm down after the gizmo settled in but it did not. It was worse at the end of the day, every day. I've never had a weight problem, either, and have only migrated to a size 6 from a size 4 around the time I hit 40 3 years ago, so this was a shock. And it felt very uncomfortable, too. It's not water weight, it's the Mirena, in my opinion. I had mine over 5 months and was bloated the whole time. The day after removal, I could already tell the difference. Good luck to you. If your removal is like mine, you will only feel a slight twinge and it is over.
