I just went through this same exact thing while on Yaz. I was hospitalized on Jan. 1 and spent 4 days in the heart unit. I am now on Coumadin until at least July. I went through great depression and anxiety attacks afterwards, but I feel really good now. I am 33, otherwise healthy. I had been having charly horses, muscle spasms in my right calf prior to PE, but I am not sure if that kind of pain is an indicator of a blood clot in your leg or not.
