My son was on Singulair for 4 years the start of an absolute nigh...

My 14 year old daughter has been on Singulair for many years now and does nothing but yell and scream and has so much anger toward our family but controlls around her friends.how long after you took your child off did you see a difference?

Oh my. flindy and dsmom, we took our 5 year old son off this a month ago. He went through a few days of tough withdrawl, but is completely back to normal now with no more outburst of rage over the slightest of things. You are lucky that the doctor said to take your son off. There are tons of doctors that say it isn't the Singulair. My ped. referred my son to a psych. evaluation, and was almost diagnosed with ADHD or Autism.
Now that your son is off of this drug, I pray that the side effects will dimish as quickly as our sons did.

DSMOM, please get your daughter off the Singulair, I can almost guarantee you that you'll have your daugther back in no time. The outbursts of rage over nothing will diminish quickly!
