Since the last time I posted, the breakthrough bleeding has come back. I guess its because I skipped the week of inactive pills in my first month. The bleeding started on the first day of the second week in my second pack of pills, and 8 days later I still have light bleeding going on. Its kind of weird actually, because I usually seem to bleed during the late morning and early afternoon, and by early evening it stops, only to start again the following day. Its not the worst thing in the world because that means that I can still have some fun with my boyfriend, as long as its at night time. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and how many months can I expect these long periods to last for before it becomes more regular?

This has happened to me for the last two months (the amount of time I've been on this pill) exact same thing...bleeding in morning through the afternoon and not at night, usually for the whole week before my period is supposed to start....isn't half the benefit of being on the pill to have shorter, more controlled periods???

I can't believe I found 2 ppl that when reading this i actually felt like you were in my head and body. The EXACT same thing has happened to me. Started taking Femcon, didn't do the 'inactive' pills (never do) and then the first day of the 2nd week of the 2nd pack of pills and haven't stopped bleeding yet. Same thing late morning, early afternoon, night time it stops, then repeat the next day....please can anyone help us
