I have had increased frequency of migraines (MRIs, various medications, etc), missed periods, spotting for days and breast tenderness for about 2 weeks before my period. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one thinking I'm pregnant every month! I also get mild cramps randomly throughout the month. I'm going to talk to my doc, especially since it's not just me experiencing these things. I'm definitely going to switch to something else!!

hm, its kind of hard saying this to a total stranger, but since i have no way of getting advice from anybody who knows what im dealing with, i thought i would come here instead hoping someone would give me advice who's at least experiencing the same things.
i'm sixteen, and i've been active with my boyfriend for about three months , and i started taking loestrin to be extra careful because the LAST thing i need is a baby. the first month was rocky, my period came on time with the brown pills, i was just a little more bitchier than i would normally be. but now in my second month of it, i havn't had my period at all. just a few minutes of bleeding about four days before the pills were supposed to start. so im here freaking out thinking im pregnant and making my boyfriend worry about me so much that it's gotten out of hand. so should i go out and get tested to make sure, or just wait for my normal period , because it seems that a lot of people are not having their either.
i don't have anybody else to talk to, so i was just wondering.

I would take a test, just to be sure.... I have been on this pill since July. I missed my period completely two months, was late two months, and had light spotting two months. I took a pregnancy test every time and every time it was negative. I take my pills at about the same time every day, so there's really no reason to have such sporadic periods. If I were you and things don't get on a more routine schedule, I would talk to my GYN about a different pill. Hope this helps! :)
