I'm just starting my second week of Femcon Fe and I'm not impressed. ever since i started taking it i've had consistent bleeding and really painful cramps. the stabbing pain kind that go all the way around to my back. there have also been really bad headaches too. usually I'm like a man about going to the doctors ( aka i don't want to go and usually dont) but the pain was so bad last night that i almost went to the er. is anyone else having cramps that cause back pain too?

YES. the very first two days I started Femcon I had the worst cramps and back pain and naseua of my life- ever. And I get severely bad cramps and back pain on my period. After a week I considered discontinuing use. I was naseous for hours after I took the pill and had cramps and pain all day long. Everything eased up after a few weeks. I spotted a bit the first month. The second month it didn't help much with pain or severe bleeding while I was on my period, but the 3rd month and on have been perfectly fine and now I just spot on my period, I don't even bleed, have cramps, or backache. That's great, but now I have ZERO sex drive.

oy! i got my period 2 1/2 weeks into taking the pill. i have never had such bad cramps in my life! also i have a heavy digusting period and its day 6! ussually my period would be gone by now! also what is weird, my period goes away at night. the doctor said i could go to the ER but i'm not going to. She also gave me medicine for my cramps. I'm going to stick through this ( unless my period lasts another 6 more days..) but all pills are going to have side effects.
