My mother-in-law was put on this drug very recently for depression over losing my father-in-law 8 months ago. She took one the first night and it made her, as she put it, like a zombie. She felt like she couldn't move her body, her head or even stand up. I took her to the doctor the next day. The doctor told her to break in half and try that. Same trouble that night. She's so afraid to take it again. After reading the letters from other folks on this med, I'm glad she's not taking it anymore. Is there any other meds she can take with little or no side effects? Please help.
