Hello, I am getting Mirena inserted tomorrow evening. I am 32, mother of 2. Now that I have come across this website I am a bit nervous about all of the side effects I am reading about. I have been having serious problems with the pill over that past several months- bleeding/clotting for 2 weeks at a time, extreme moodiness and no sex drive to name a few. I will definitely keep an eye out for all of these symptoms everyone is talking about. I appreciate everyone's posting on this website. Thanks and I will definitely keep up on the postings on this site.
Just wanted you to know that although I have suffered from the side effects of extreme bloating, depression/mood swings, cramping, headaches etc... I have two friends who have had the mirena for over a year and both absolutely love it. No side effects. So good luck.
Dont think about your money lost!!!!You will lose your health if you dont have it removed ASAP.I am in bed with high temperature after yesterday removing,God knows what more should I expect...
as i said in the other page i have no side effects at all ....the only thing sometimes i doubt if it is a side effect, are headaches... mirena is something which you can remove any time so why dont you try it....if your doctor tells you to do so
