I wouldn't be surprised if Synthroid is causing your problem. I've had
breathing problems EVERY single day since Synthroid changed formula
back in 1982-83, and I can't get it corrected despite trying a variety of
different thyroid drugs and doses over the years. Although I haven't
been given your diagnosis of inflamed lungs, I have no doubt that
today's version of Synthroid can cause lung and heart problems, as
well as many, MANY other crummy things. S.D.
