I have been on a Prednisone taper just under a week for Bronchiti...

I was given Prednisone for the same reason, Bronchitis. Prednisone is awful. Althoiugh it works, the side effects are horrendous. I haven" had a period for 3 months now. I weigh 110, but I the Prednisone caused my face to blow up and also my stomach (to the point I looked pregnant). I will never take Prednisone again. But, on a good note, your system will get back to normal soon since you did not take for a long time. Hope this helps! I've done alot of research on this Prednisone, and it sounds as if it just takes time to get your body back to making its own "adrenalin".
