you can't seriously think you got PCOS from taking Yasmin. PCOS is a syndrome, and taking the pill is used as one of the treatments for it. One of the possibilities is the it is genetic, and it can be caused by insulin resistance or problems in your adrenal gland. You can't possibly get PCOS from taking yasmin. And PCOS does in fact increase the risk for cervical cancer, cardiovascular disease, and Diabetes, but has nothing to do with taking the pill or not.

No, I do not think she got PCOS from the birth control pill. It, the Yaz pack, was prescribed to assist in normalizing her cycles. I do think the blood clots were a side effect of the birth control pill she was taking.
