I was on Yaz for almost 1 year, this year I noticed vaginal itching for about 3-4 mos. Drove me crazy I used over the counter yeast meds, finally went to the gyno. I had killed all my yeast and had caused bacterial vaginosis. After treatment I still continued with itching. Finally decided to change off Yaz to my previous birth control I noticed the itching stopped. Since I have experiemented with Yaz one month and the other the next month. Each month I am on the Yaz I have itching which subsides when I use the other birthcontrol pill. I decided Yaz is the culprit. I have been tested for all STD's and any other reason I may have itching and all were negative. I am 35 and in a monogamus reltionship. The docotor said that some people are sensitive to the increased hormone in Yaz and their body can't handle it. I hope this helps. Try another pill for about 2 months and see if the itching stops.
