This is an update. We took our son off Singulair 10 days ago. We continue with Flovent once a day, and the asthma has not deteriorated. My son's overall mood has gotten better, he is less aggressive and became very verbal about how much he loves us. He is still emotional but not as much as before: while he still wants to cry at the drop off a hat, he manages to stop himself after 15 seconds. That is a huge improvement. Things are by far not back to normal, but overall I see my old son shining through. However, we still have an issue with obsessive compulsive behavior. We have an appointment with our pediatrician this Thursday.

Hi, My girls have been off singuliar for almost 2 weeks now.My 7yr.old had become obsessive about weird things. She began wiping herself way to many times after going to the bathroom. She would pick up a huge book and have to turn every single page before putting it down.Eventhough she was not reading it.She became obsessive about her underwear, and would change 3-4 per times day.She became obsessive about how the blankets had to be.Everything had to be perfect and it drove me crazy. But the changes appeared slowly,so I thought it was all about her developing personality.Boy was I wrong. Her obsessive ways have diminished immensely.I"m getting my little girl back.
