I have been on Lisinopril for several months and my blood pressure was 170/104 . It is now 104/77, but I do have side effects that my dr. says it isn't from this drug. 1 is asthma and a cough and headaIches. Lightheaded and fatigue. I am now on asthma medicine an inhaler. I was taking 10mg but it was increased to 20mg and with hydrchorothiazide 12.5mg. I was depressed on the first 10mg I don't feel that now. I am also now taking zocor. I don't sleep as well. Difficulty in breathing is also one of the side effect caused by Lisinopril. You can look at the list of side effects and various drugs that interact with Lisinopril to increase the intensity of side effects. See if you are taking any of these medications.

Did you have asthma before taking Lisinopril? No? It's the Lisinopril. The cough, lightheadedness and fatigue are side effects of Lisinopril. Don't take more meds to fix the side effects - it just gets worse! Visit drugs.com for a comprehensive evaluation of Lisinopril. You can also check for drug interactions. Good Luck.
