There are a lot of complaints posted! and they helped me.The real message is it may or may not work for everyone, and if it works it may stop working for you. I loved zyrtec for 5 years, going through a list of allergy meds the past 10 years. I'm only seasonal so this season i started it again (now being about 14 days) and WOW: no sneezing and nose is better BUT heart flutters, mood swings (big crazy ones! first time i was close to feeling road rage), very tired, major menstrual problems (all the 2 weeks of being back on Zyrtec) plus it actually has made my eyes very dry resulting in excessive watery eyes, one of the things it's supposed to control. ADVICE: i'm 33 but i like using Little Noses, it cleans out your nose, i use a 2-3 times a day (kinda like using a netty pot but more convenient, and wash/rinse my hair daily to keep the pollen away from my face...and always wear sunglasses outside, especially on windy days, which we have a lot of. Thanks.
I believe it is. I've had the exact same problems since I started taking zyrtec. Significant weight gain, no menstrul cycle, extremely moody. Thing is I just stopped taking it and the itching from withdrawal is CRAZY!!!
