A two days off of singulair my son started with a sore throat and headache that didn't go away for 5 days., three days after that started he ran a low grade fever for two days. I've read about others who had the same thing happen, so if your just getting off the singulair you may feel like your getting sick.

Yes I agree! both my son and I got bad symptons and now are finally starting to feel better! today is 14 days! but even though he was not feeling the greatest his smile was still back!

were you on it for seasonal allergies? Have you guys experienced any coughing bouts?

No, He was on it for 7 years straight for asthma. He has been coughing, but he's also congested. Asthma hasn't gotten any worse. 99 percent of his asthma was when he had colds in the fall and early winter, I never understood why the Dr. insisted that he be on Singulair all year long.

i was taking it mostly for asthma but also i have allergies..took it for about 8 years. just quit. have the worst sore throat..lol guess that's part of the detox game.

My son has also been getting headaches and sore throat. It has been 5 days since being off Singulair.
