Please make sure to go directly to medwatch.com and file your complaint it is the FDA website.I am so happy you got your answers , now your family can have the normal life you deserve. It truly is amazing that these doctors were clueless about this awful drug.Ours pediatrician did not know a thing about the reported adverse reactions that had been reported, the label change was brought to there attention by me bringing in an advertisement from a magazine.Pitiful just to think so many have suffered ,and our family losing our son because of corporate greed .Most people would not choose a drug with such high risk for there child ,if they chose to inform us of the risk.God bless and Good Luck Kate Miller

I also forgot to mention my daughter had recurring insomnia as another side effect from taking Singulair.
This is an interesting situation. I am so happy that discontinuing Singulair has given relief some these symptoms. In your case, were you allergic or asthmatic as a child. How long have you taken Singulair? Are you underweight or overweight?
"I never thought about the connection, because I take Singulair. I will add I also take an antidepressant and have made an appointment with my doctor to discuss all of this. "
I am so sorry for the agony your family has gone thru! My stomach is in knots reading this post. My biggest fear is that my daughter will experience anxiety and depression like I have.
I am a 37 year old woman with chronic sinusitus and have been taking Sinulair for years. 3 months after I had my daughter I began having horrible anxiety. Of course, I was put on an antidepressant and my condition was chalked up to PPD. It's 4 years later and I'm still on antideps and Singulair. I am so afraid of coming off of the antidepressant to find out if the Singualir is the culprit. I have stopped the Singulair and my allergies are worse, but can't tell if the anxiety is gone because the antidepressant takes care of that.
I feel like I am between a rock and a hard place.
Any advice would be appreciated.
