YOU ARE THE IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU MUST WORK FOR THE POISON MAKERS FOR YOU TO HAVE THAT TO SAY. THIS FORUM IS FOR POSTING SIDE EFFECTS. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE????????????? GET LOST
BY THE WAY, THIS IS A MEDICINE OF LAST RESORT NOT FOR COLDS AND FLU SEASON. IF YOU REALLY WORKED IN THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM YOU WOULD KNOW THAT THIS STUFF IS FOR BACTERIAL INFECTIONS ONLY. GOOD BY IDIOT
Would you be kind enough to tell us the name of the "health care system" you work in? This is important so that I, and the other idiots here, do not inadvertently patronize such a dangerous place. I personally would not want to risk it and I'm sure you would not want me there either. I'm very serious, places such as this scare me so I would really like to know.
Thanks,
Joe
Oh my God, you sound like a real dope!!Just wait till the people you gave it to come back with alot of OTHER ailments. Give it time sweetie!!They will! Marsh
How mature, the supervisor of your "health care" establishment must be so very proud of your knowledge of cold and flu drugs, as well as your use of the Englsh language. It is ridiculous for you to say that any competent doctor would allow this medication to be given for a cold or a flu. Are you joking? Nice try on trying to sound intelligent. I am sure that after you posted your comment and actually researched this medication, you ran across the numerous lawsuits relating to quinolones. Boy, you must have felt as though your comments may have been........how shall I say it.....IDIOTIC. As far as rash, joint pain, and the rest of you comments that made absolutley no sense......read the insert that the FDA puts with the medication. They(the government) must be lying when they listed all the side affects that actual people have encountered. Posting insults about people who are suffering after taking this medication is to say the least 100% rude, and more importantly uneducated. How about you do some more research, as well as some internal soul searching and find a new profession. Health care providers, as you stated you are, need to be compassionate. I wish you the best and hope that you never have permenant shoulder and elbow joint damage from a medication that was promised to heal an infection that you recieved during surgery......like me.
I sincerely hope that you are not a health care provider. If you are, please take the time to google and read the FDA prescribing information for Levaquin.
Really Mercedeslane? I happen to identify with almost all of these complaints. I have had joint and muscle pain for 2 months now since taking Levaquin. There's proof that it's no good. And too many people have the same symptoms. These symptoms are permanent - not an inconvenient side effect! And how dare you say "only idiots posting here." I define "idiot" as one who mouths off without having actually taken the product they are mouthing off about! Did the manufacturer take you out to lunch too?! Take this product for 10 days and get back to us. Something tells me you'll be eating your words!
You are the idiot. I am a paralegal with 25 years experience with no tendon problems prior to taking levquin. I took levaquin 8 weeks ago, within 4 weeks of that I ruptured a tendon in my writing hand when my finger hyper-extended for no apparent reason. I do believe that this is a good strong drug for sinus infections but I have been told that my injury is permanent as surgery on my finger will resu,t in permanent stiffness as they would have to wire back up. Luckily my finger is attached on one side. I don't thik you should call people idiots that post. I didn't drink with my medication and followed it precisely. You must have stock in this company or something because you seem to be trying to cover up the side effects. This side effect needs to be relayed. I saw it on the news and I said "bingo! that is exactly what happened to me. So "screw you, your the crack pot bastard in my opinion.
Dumb asses are too dumb to know that they are dumb asses. They think anyone discsussing anything that they (the dumb asses) don't understand is the dumb ass.
The actual dumb ass jumps on one small detail in an attempt to justify a broad statement.
Mecedeslane is "eat up with the dumb ass" and I shan't waste my time advising how she might improve her knowledge base regarding this topic because I'm sure she would not be interested.
i invite you to come to columbia sc and visit my mom in the hospital lexington medical center look for yourself what the only anitbiotic my mom has taken ever then call me an idiot after you see her i also invite you to spend sitting time with her and learn what a wonderful GOD fearing lady she is and by the way the medical staff here certainly do not think she is an idiot in fact they will probably never take the drug again either
WOW, I say we pump an IV line of Levaquin into you and then you can what idiots we all are. Paying for your college tuition is no excuse for promoting toxic shit from hell. Doctors like you deserve to be put on their own medications and plenty of them. Don't worry about it, you'll be repaid for your disregard to human life in time. The evil you do on this earth will eventually catch up to you. Even in a mercedes. I hope you never practice medicine again on a lab rat let alone a human.
I also am a nurse, and have suffered arm pain since taking levaquin. I never had these problems before and know that it was the drug. This drug should not be used and the company should be held responsible. Thousands of people can not be wrong that the drug has caused these injuries! I feel that either you are an uncaring, medical person or a plant from the drug company itself.
You call yourself a health care professional? Please tell me where you are employed so I make sure I never seek treatment there. I took Levaquin for a sinus infection, after 3 days I could barely walk and had to sit on my butt to get down the stairs. It's now three weeks later and I still have excrutiating pain running down the back of my left leg, from upper thigh to lower calf and wrapping around my foot and ankle. Not related to Levaquin, yeah right!
