i have been on the ring for a week now, i havent had any side effects, yet. I had to get on the ring because the high estrogen level of the pill was making my hormons go crazy and creating nuts in my breats. After reading all the side effects i dont know if i want to keep using the ring. I have not had intercorse with the ring on because im scared its going to hurt me or my partner.... any help on how to avoid pain during intercose while using the ring??? will my partner feel the ring ??

i have been on the ring for 9 months now. i love it! (except i'm having a hard time losing weight and i think it might be the ring... : / ) at first my partner and i could feel the ring. it didn't hurt at all, i could just tell it was there. it didn't take long before neither of us could feel it at all.

I really do love it. it's the best birth controll i have ever been on! and i've tried them all! the pill, the patch, the shot, condoms...

so in summary, it doesn't hurt to have sex with the ring. at first you might feel it, but it doesn't hurt and it wont take long befor you and your partner wont feel it at all

I've been using the ring for about 3 months now. Every once in a while my partner says he can feel it but it doesn't bother him. I stopped it this month because I think it's making me gain weight gradually. I want to see if there is a difference going without it for a month. Otherwise, I haven't had any adverse side effects. I really like it, I can't even tell it's there and my period comes right on time when I take it out, and leaves right before I have to put it back in.

I have been on the ring on and off for years. I was also nervous about intercourse at first but I found that neither one of us even noticed it was there. I also have not had any of the side effects that the other women here have had. The only problem I have is that it takes quite a while for my cycle to start once I remove the ring, next thing you know its time to put it back in. I even went off and had another child without any trouble. Good Luck to you.

I didn't really notice any pain during intercourse, but my partner said that he could feel it. I don't know if he really could or if he was just saying that. After reading some of the other postings I think he really could feel it. I did notice that I am definately dry down there during intercourse and we use some lube and things are better. I am thinking about quiting using it though because of the things that I have seen on this blog. I have been on it for about 2 years and since starting it my sex drive is gone and I have been getting headaches. I thought the headaches were stress related. I also notice that my mood changes and I am more like myself while not having the ring in.
