i am freaking out as my break out is terrible. i have had problems with acne the last 4 years but blammed it partly on pregnancies (i had 2 ). i got the mirena around may 07. the winter was really bed and i am not getting better despite medications. i was researching tonight wondering the the hormones in the mirena is the problem..

I started a months supply of antibiotics yesterday to cure my acne on my forehead and chest area. They are also very sore spots that take ages to heal up. I have had the Mirena for 4 months. If this doesn't cure it then the doctor wants to take it out. He said it from the hormone released. Imam also experiencing terrible mood swings all month. I'm not sure I can wait another four months before having it taken out.
