I have just tried Advair, and after 4 days, joints all over my body started to ache. My eyes hurt alot and my vision got blurry. Lastly, I just have a general feeling of unease. I quit the advair and was much better within 3 more days. All pain is gone and eyes feel normal again, although my eye sight seems diminished. I took no other drugs and felt fine before taking the Advair. I am 44 and suffer from mild copd. I can get by with Albuteral, and will do so from now on. I know that one is safe. Good luck to all.

Hi there, I just took myself off of advair. I had aching bones and joints suddenly. My blood pressure suddenly went high, I lost my voice and I am hoarse. I have heard it ruins your enamel on your teeth, you can get glacoma and it can deteriorate your bones. I told my doctor that I did my research on the net. He wasnt impressed and I really dont care. Doctors should study the side effects instead of administering it blindly to all patients.

you need to talk to your doctor asap about what else you can do to control your asthma...albuterol is just not enough (it's only a "rescue" inhaler...sometimes you can have inflammation in yoiur lungs and you don't know it, you can't feel it. Then when you start feeling short of breath and you take the Albuterol, sometimes it will help and sometimes it won't. Being on a daily control regimen will improve your life over time. If you're sure you are having bad side effects from Advair, then work with your doctor to find something different that can help. I've been asthmatic since I was two years old and I understand what you're saying--I don't like having to use meds either, but they are invented for a reason. Get some education on the subject and don't let your disease control your life. Good luck
