has anyone noticed that the women complaining of no symptoms are the women who have not had any kids? the weird thing is i was told women who have not had children should not have it inserted. while reading all of your stories i have my husband and sister here and they remember me mentioning all of symptoms before i read this. so it is not me thinking i have these symptoms. i have had the acne, more hair falls out when i brush my hair, mood swings, depression, negative thinking towards myself, paranoia, no patience, irritability, increased feelings of anger, jealousy, separation from others, foggy vision, fatigue, sleepy - lazy,n panic attacks, anxiety, problems loosing weight, really stiff back when i wake up, sleeplessness. before i had i never had to use deodorant and now i do, so maybe increased sweating. i am 20 yrs old, 2 kids (2 yrs and 7 months), i have had mirena since January of 2008. the slight spotting they told me about before insertion lasted 2 months, i too ruined too many pairs of underwear thinking it had stopped only for it to start again. the two periods i have had are lighter but they last longer. i rarely get cramps but when i do i am doubling over. i have talked to my doctor's nurses and they have never heard this before i guess and don't know what i am talking about. my husband saw on the local news that women are reporting severe symptoms. if you read their site about it they even say that they are not sure how it works exactly. they just have a general idea. i am getting off of it like the others. i know it sounds like a lot of symptoms but it is all tied to hormones. i am sure some people can handle and some people can't.
