I started taking Yaz at the middle of March. My skin was pretty clear with the exception of about 3 relatively small, painless zits. Within the first week of taking Yaz, I noticed big cystic acne coming up on my chin. The week before my period, My entire face broke out in cystic acne! Now it is about the week before my next cycle and my face is still covered in cystic acne. Whats worse is that thy r real bad on my chin, but as the old ones go away, a new cystic one pops up in the same exact spot so my skin is really thin, painful and it seems like they r getting deeper. Did u stay on Yaz or did you stop? If you stopped did your acne clear up again? HELP!!

I quit Yaz as I was posting that! I am now on Ortho Tri-Cyclin Lo, and my face and mood are back to normal. I am glad I quit Yaz. "GOODBYE TO YOU" is right, it really does change a person when they are on YAZ (and not for the better)!!! Get off it now! Anything would probably be better, but each of us have different bodies so different meds will react differently with each of us!
