After taking 40 to 80 mg Zocor for over a year I have been off it for 3 months. The sude effects are slowly going away. The worst is my inability to drink coke or pepsi without tasting amonia. I am going to try 10 mg of ZETIA a new lowering drug that works in the gastrict and has no known side effects. I'll let you know how it works.
