I've been on Lipitor for 1 year and have all the side affects tha...

I had been on lipitor for many years and then crestor a couple months ago. I now realize that it is responsible for my memory impairment and have gone off it without telling my doctor to see it my memory gets better .These companies have a lot of nerve pushing a product to get our LDL levels so low we kill our ability to maintain normal brain function. My liver enzymes are up sometimes as well and i have headaches. I am so mad!!!! I lost my job and am fearful with my memory problems if I get a new job will I make more erros and hurt anybody... A HUGE class action lawsuit should hurt them and make people aware what these drugs do to people.

hi,you have mentioned that you develope fatty liver(inflamed)this is the main side effect of lipitor and that is why doctors check liver function test for those who taking statin.why not cure the problem from the base (liver) liver manfacutre 80% of cholestrol so the healthy liver the healthy cholestrol level,it is better to see nutrionist and ask for st mary thisthle or milk thistle this is helping to clean the liver and also regenrate liver cell.search and good luck.
